Section 21 (Starting): Starter: Removal

  1. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the intake manifold (see REMOVAL ).
  2. REMOVE REAR WATER BY-PASS JOINT (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the starter connector.
    2. Remove the nut and disconnect the starter cable.
    3. Remove the bolt and disconnect the engine wire protector.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts and starter.
