Inspection Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (CENTER STOP LIGHT)
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to generate a control command, and then check that the center stop light illuminates.

- INSPECT CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
- Remove the center stop light.
- Apply battery voltage to the center stop light connector and check that the center stop light illuminates.

- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LIGHT - ECU AND BODY GROUND)

- Disconnect the H18 light connector.
- Disconnect the L23 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition H18-1 - L23-6 (STP3) Below 1 Ω H18-2 - Body ground Below 1 Ω H18-1 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
