Cylinder and Gas Generator Cartridge

The non-pressurized cylinder has a four-liter capacity; refer to the 'fire suppressant control panel' graphic: Fire suppressant control panel . The gas generator cartridge provides the propulsion to deliver the Aqueous Film Forming Foam from the cylinder, through the fire suppression nozzles and into the engine compartment. Operation of the gas generator cartridge is controlled by the control module via a hardwired electrical connection.
