Acceleration Control: Notes

Acceleration control for the 4.2 Liter supercharged petrol engine is achieved via an electronic throttle drive by wire system. The throttle is electronically connected to the engine control module (ECM). The engine control module (ECM) then controls the fuelling in accordance to signals received from the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor. Refer to Electronic Engine Controls .
