DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CMPS signal=1 and no tooth detected (CMPS High-Intake) or CMPS signal=0 and no tooth detected (CMPS Low-Intake)
  1. Poor connection
  2. Abnormal assembling state
  3. CMPS sensor
  4. CMPS sensor incorrectly installed
  5. Damaged CMPS sensor shielding
  6. CMPS sensor circuit shorted to other CMPS sensor circuits
Enable Conditions
  • No CKPS sensor error
  • Gap of CKPS sensor wheel detected
Threshold Value
  • No signal per crankshaft rev. greater than 4 times
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Mil On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
