Repair procedures: Inspection

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the passenger compartment junction box cover.
  3. Remove the crash pad side switch assembly (A) by pushing it through junction box cover hole.
    NOTE: Put on gloves to protect your hands.

  4. Check the continuity between the switch terminals as the ESC OFF switch is engaged.
