Control Unit Power & Ground Check

  1. Disconnect control unit connector (located behind right side kick panel). Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between control unit connector (harness side) terminal No. 3 and ground. SeeFigure . Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, check chassis ground point and ground circuit (Black wire) for open.
  2. Using a DVOM, check voltage at control unit connector terminal No. 6 and ground. Battery voltage should be present. If battery voltage is not present check system fuse (RR DEF fuse).
