Neutral Safety Switch

  1. Apply parking brake. Loosen switch retaining screws. Place transaxle selector lever in Neutral. Install a .157" (4.00-mm) diameter pin in adjustment holes of switch and transaxle selector lever. See Fig 1 and Fig 2.
  2. Hold pin as vertically as possible. Tighten switch retaining screws to specification. See the TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article.
