Motor Test

NOTE: Diagnosis can be performed using Nissan CONSULT Tester. Follow tester manufacturer's instructions to perform diagnostic procedures.

Unplug motor connector. Using fused jumper wires, connect a 12-volt power supply and ground to motor terminals. Motor should run smoothly. Transpose jumper leads at motor terminals. Motor should run smoothly in reverse direction. If motor does not run, check linkage for binding. If linkage is okay, replace motor.
