Preliminary Procedures Remove the turn signal switch bracket. Refer to Turn Signal Switch Bracket Replacement . Remove the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement .
1	Ignition Lock Cylinder Case Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Use a hammer and chisel to bite into the shear bolt at a position offset from center and tap the chisel to rotate the bolt in order to remove it. Torque the ignition lock cylinder case bolt until the head shears off.
2	Ignition Lock Cylinder Case Procedure: Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.

Ignition Lock Cylinder Case Bolt

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Use a hammer and chisel to bite into the shear bolt at a position offset from center and tap the chisel to rotate the bolt in order to remove it.
Torque the ignition lock cylinder case bolt until the head shears off.
