The "Mid" Does Not Indicate When The "CMBS" Off Switch Is Operated

Diagnostic procedure 

• 1. Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function - Refer to:

  Gauges Self-Diagnostic Function (2016 2017 2018) or

  Gauges Control Module Self-Diagnostic Function (2019 2020 2021) .

• 2. Test the CMBS OFF switch - Refer to:

  CMBS OFF Switch Removal and Installation, Test (2016 2017 2018) or

  CMBS OFF Switch Removal and Installation, Test (2016 2017 2018) (2019 2020 2021) .

Also check for 

• An open or increased resistance in the wire.
• A short in the wire.
