Installation Procedure
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Position the fuse block housing (2) to the vehicle. Install the cable and cable nut (1) to the fuse block (2). Tighten cable nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Install the fuse block (2) to the bracket and secure the 6 retainer tabs (1).
Install the fuse block bolts (1). Tighten bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Install the starter generator cable (2), install the starter generator cable nut (1). Tighten cable nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Push the upper latch to the right (arrow) and install the cover (1) to the block, insuring the 2 tab on the cover are secure.
- Install the engine wiring harness block cover. Refer to Engine Wiring Harness Fuse Block Cover Replacement
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
