Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Place the window in the fully down position.
2. Remove front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the front side door inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .

Procedure

1. Remove the front side door water deflector.
2. Remove the nuts on the window regulator guide.
3. Raise the window to the fully up position, tape in place.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor.
5. Position window to access the front side door window regulator guide nuts.

Procedure

1. When installing a new window regulator, transfer the two window regulator guides nuts.
2. After the window regulator has been installed and connected remove the tape from the window and lower the window to meet the regulator guides nuts.
3. Inspect the door window for proper operation before installing the door trim panel.
