Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Starter Mounting Bolt

  1. Install Starter (2)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install Starter Mounting Bolt (1) and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)

  3. Install Fuel Pump Fuel Feed Pipe Bracket (1)
  4. Install Fuel Pump Fuel Feed Pipe Bracket Bolt (2) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  5. Install Starter Solenoid Cable (2)
  6. Install Starter Solenoid Cable Nut (1) and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  7. Connect the electrical connector.(3)
  8. Install Oil Level Indicator Tube. Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement
  9. Install Front Wheelhouse Liner. Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (without ZR2)Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (with ZR2)
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
