Knob, Gearshift: Installation

  1. Install the shifter knob (1) onto the shifter shaft (2) and seat fully, an audible click should be heard.

  2. Install a NEW  shifter knob retaining clamp (1b) and clamp with an appropriate tool.
  3. Firmly pull up on the knob to verify proper installation.

  4. Snap the shifter boot snap (1a) closed.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
