Rear Heat Shield: Notes

REMOVAL 

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Remove the spare tire.
3. Remove the front bolts securing the rear heat shield.

4. Remove the rear bolts and the rear heat shield.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.

• Install the rear heat shield and tighten the rear bolts to the proper torque specifications.
• Install the front bolts securing the rear heat shield and tighten to the proper torque specifications.
