Headlamps Fail To Flash During Alarm

Ensure the low beam headlamps are operational before proceeding. If the lamps are not working properly, repair the headlamp circuit as necessary. Disconnect the remote keyless entry module connector. See Figure. Connect a test light from the dimmer switch low beam output circuit to ground. Turn the low beam headlamps on. If the test light illuminated when the low beam headlamps were on, replace the remote keyless entry module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If the test light did not illuminate when the low beam headlamps were on, repair the dimmer switch low beam output circuit for an open. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
