Removal & Installation (Avenger & Sebring Coupe)

  1. Fuel level sensor is located at top center of fuel tank. See Figure. Release fuel pressure from fuel system. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Remove fuel tank cap to release any residual fuel tank pressure.
  2. Remove rear seat cushion and cover for access to fuel level sensor. See Figure. Disconnect electrical connector at fuel level sensor. Remove retaining nuts and fuel level sensor.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten retaining nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
