Fuel Injector (TBI): Installation
- Apply a thin coat of oil to NEW upper and lower injector "O" rings. Install "O" rings on injector. Install NEW lower injector insulator into injector cavity. Insert injector straight down into TBI unit. DO NOT twist injector.
- Carefully install injector cover with electrical connector to TBI unit, and tighten mounting screws. Tighten air cleaner stud bracket bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Pressurize fuel system and check for leaks.
