Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connectors to the sunroof control module.

  2. Install the sunroof control module tabs (2) into the slots (3) located on the sunroof module assembly.
  3. Slide the sunroof control module (1) away from the sunroof motor/actuator until the sunroof control module is fully engaged to the sunroof module assembly.
    4. IMPORTANT: Test the proper operation of the sunroof functions before installing the interior trim components.
  4. Reposition the headliner to the center and rearward roof magnets.

  5. Install the passenger side sail panel. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement (Standard) or Sail Panel Replacement (WC2, WC8) in Interior Trim.

  6. Install the passenger side rear seat belt retractor (4). Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Rear in Seat Belts.

  7. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Standard) or Seat Back Replacement - Rear (WC2, WC8) in Seats.

  8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear to in Seats.

  9. Align the upper center trim panel retainer, push inward in order to secure.
  10. Reposition the passenger rear door opening weatherstrip seal.

  11. Install the passenger side rear assist handle. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement in Interior Trim.
  12. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zones in Restraints.
  13. Close the passenger rear door.
