- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol)

Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
- Refer to IF INSTALLED: REMOVE EMERGENCY WHEEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LOADING EDGE TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WELL .
- Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL ON LEFT .
- Unlock and disconnect all the plug connections in area (1)
- Loosen nuts (2)
- Feed out and remove the receiver audio module (RAM) (3) with the holder
In case of equipment specification with Parking Assistant Plus (5DN): Remove the TRSVC control unit
Remove the TRSVC control unit
- Unlock and disconnect all the plug connections in area (1)
- Loosen nuts (2)
- Feed out and turn around the Receiver Audio Module (RAM) (3)
with the bracket
- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1)
- Release the detents (2) for the cable
- Feed out and remove the TRSVC control unit (3) with the bracket
