SZL: Steering column switch cluster
Depending on the series and the model year, the steering column switch cluster (SZL) is an independent control unit (e.g.: F07, F10, F11) or no control unit any longer (e.g.: F15, F16, I01).
The steering column switch cluster detects the button signals from the traffic jam assistant button in the left keypad in the multifunction steering wheel. These signals are forwarded by the steering column switch cluster on the LIN bus to the respective control units.
