DTC Advanced Diagnostics: P060D (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025)
DTC P060D : Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Internal Control Module Malfunction
General Description
The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the analog digital (A/D) converter of the microcontroller. The monitoring of the A/D converter is done by means of a low voltage test impulse and a voltage test out of range. If the A/D converter voltage is out of normal range, the PCM detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.

Malfunction Threshold
- Case 1
The measured voltage at the A/D converter for accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 2 signal is greater than 0.22 V.
- Case 2
The A/D converter test voltage is greater than 4.83 V, or less than 4.73 V.
Possible Cause
The causes shown may not be a complete list of all potential problems, and it is possible that there may be other causes.
- PCM internal circuit failure
Diagnosis Details
Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL comes on and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, the freeze data, and the on-board snapshot are stored in the PCM memory.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The MIL is cleared if the malfunction does not return in three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs. The MIL, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, the freeze data, and the on-board snapshot can be cleared with the scan tool clear command.
