Left Mirror Inoperative
- Gently pry driver's power window/mirror switch from driver's door. Disconnect 10-pin power mirror switch harness connector. See Figure. Using fused jumper wires, connect harness connector terminal No. 1 (Orange wire) to terminal No. 7 (Blue/Green wire), and terminal No. 4 (Blue/White wire) or terminal No. 9 (Blue/Orange wire) to ground.
- Turn ignition on. Mirror should tilt downward (or swing left). If mirror moves as specified, inspect power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If mirror does not tilt downward, check for open circuit in Blue/White wire between mirror and switch. If it does not swing left, check for open circuit in Blue/Orange wire between mirror and switch. If it does not move downward or swing left, check for open circuit in Blue/Green wire. If all circuits are okay, replace power mirror actuator. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
